Brooklyn based author Mira Jacob released her hotly anticipated debut book, The Sleepwalker's Guide to Dancing, in July 2014, to a wealth of positive reviews.

Jacob is the founder of Pete's Reading Series, set up over ten years ago, and former deputy editor of Babble.com and Parenting Editor of Yahoo!Shine.com. Her first novel takes the reader across India, New Mexico and Seattle through the 1970s and 1980s, and sees a family 'wrestling' with its future and past, with father and brain surgeon Thomas Eapen and his apparent 'breakdown' at the centre of the tale.
